Pulmonologist Questions Persistent Cough

How can I treat persistent cough in my little one?

My son is 5 years old and is constantly suffering from a cough. I have tried different forms of medications but it just keeps coming back. What should I do?

A persistent cough could be asthma allergies reflux etc all needing different treatment. Further evaluation may be needed
Is it day or night cough which is persistent? If it is not persistent, just periodically, then:

1) Look for allergies
2) Look for acid reflux
3) Exercise-induced asthma

Go to your physician and have him check it out.
