Honestly cavities are never good. So they by default are always bad. That being said some cavities I've seen in patients thay ate huge can little discomfort and small cavities can cause massive pain. Pain seems to be what most patients gauge on how " bad " the cavity is. Just get it fixed sooner rather than later
Waiting too long for a cavity is never a good idea. Pain and infection are possible when decay worsens. Do yourself a favor and get an exam. Your dentist can help find a problem and suggest treatment early. It can save a lot of time and expenses.
Well, Bad = discomfort, Really Bad = more discomfort/pain, Really, Really Bad = Lots of pain/swelling!!
