The best pain relief for dental pain is going to be some form of ibuprofen (Motrin, Advil). 600mg every 6 hours or 400mg every 4 hours. If you cannot take ibuprofen or it is not enough by itself, then acetaminophen (Tylenol) is the next medication, dosage according to instructions on the bottle.
Tylenol is the best pain reliever for discomfort associated with Invisalign. Also, an orthodontic patient tool called Munchies can be very helpful in relieving orthodontic discomfort.Sent from my Galaxy
Soft foods. Ibuprofen (Motrin,Advil) 600 mg taken with Acetaminophen (Tylenol) 500 mg
Invisalign is typically not a painful process. I differentiate pain from “soreness “ which is what the orthodontic process can do. The soreness shouldn’t last more than 1-3 days after a new aligner and gets even better the more you get used to them. For soreness I would recommend regular Tylenol for more acute pain I would recommend talking to your provider.
