How long does nerve damage in your hand take to heal?

I am a 27 year old female. I want to know how long does nerve damage in your hand take to heal?

This really depends upon the particular nerve that you injured, the mechanism of the injury and the exact location of the nerve injury. In general, if you cut a nerve and it was repaired, it takes approximately 3 weeks for the nerve to begin to recover and then it recovers approximately 1 mm per day. However, again, there are many other variables that come into play. Good luck.
Thank you for the question. Nerves will continue to improve for at least 1 year after injury. However, some nerve injury can result in permanent symptoms. It depends on the nature of the injury.
