“How long does your mouth hurt after getting a bridge?”
I got a dental bridge 3 days ago. It still hurts. How long does your mouth hurt after getting a bridge?

You may have some slight sensitivity to cold for a few days or maybe even a couple of weeks. If you are sensitive to hot, or if you are having throbbing pain, or if the pain is waking you up at night you probably have an infection and may need a root canal.
If the tenderness is not stabilizing within that first week then the bite may need adjustment. The periodic sensitivity can be normal for several weeks and sometimes months depending on where the crown margins needed to be placed as well as if there were cracks that were being stabilized with the bridge abutments. Always consult with your dentist to confirm the bite and diagnosis if pain is worsening.
