I don't know. Maybe they won't hurt at all. Maybe you'll have no sore spots. If you do have any sore spots, please tell your dentist so he/she can adjust them. Just be sure to wear your dentures for several hours before your appointment. Your dentist will need to see where there's too much pressure so the denture can be adjusted appropriately.
Are you having any teeth extracted? If not, for any painful spots you need to have the denture adjusted. How long did it take you to adjust to your prior dentures? That can be an indication of what to expect. Everyone adapted differently.
If you’re having dentures delivered they should not hurt. If they do then
the should be adjusted the next day.
If there are teeth extracted prior to the delivery, that’s a different
story.
It depends, if you got your dentures right after an extraction, they may hurt until the extraction site is heal and even several weeks after. If you did not extract any teeth, there is an adjustment period but if they hurt, you need to return back to your dentist to have them adjusted. Your gum tissues are not use to something rubbing on them all day, so there is a time where your gum tissues will need to get tougher also.
