Physical Therapist Questions Numbness in hand

I slept incorrectly and my right hand is in a lot of pain. What should I do?

Yesterday night I slept incorrectly on my right hand. As a result my entire hand and neck region is hurting a lot. I have had a Combiflam to relieve the pain. However after 8 hours the pain is back. What should I do?

Get a check up at physical therapy clinic. It may be pinched nerve from your neck.
Hi,

Looks like you have nerve impingement. It’s better to consult a PT before it gets worse.
Regards.
It’s quite possible to develop muscle tightness with prolonged positioning. I would recommend neck and arm stretches and hot pack application. If it doesn’t relieve your pain then follow up with your physician.
This pain might comes from your neck or pressure on ulnar nerve around the elbow joint ,however if this pain didn't subside within couple of days ,you need to see your primary for more tests.
You should see a physical therapist
