Neurologist | Neurology with Special Qualifications in Child Neurology Questions Neurologist

I think my son has neurological problems?

My child (M18) seems to have suffered some sort of injury considering the actions. I tried to quiz my child on his history but seemed very confused. When asked what country Amsterdam is the capital of, he seemed very confused and kept saying London, England, Britain, United Kingdom, New York, America, and Michigan. Obviously, none of these are the right answers and some make no sense. I kept trying to explain it. He does not seem normal neurologically.

See a neurologist, the a neuro-psychologist
This sounds very serious. I recommend an immediate medical evaluation with a possible Neurology referral..
Although it could be lack of geographical knowledge: If in fact he has memory problems (check with something you know he knew in the past) and does not seem to be acting normal, then he should have a Neurological evaluation and a Neuro-psychological evaluation as well. One more thing to check would be to make sure he is not engaging in recreational pharmacology (drug use/abuse).
