If I am in rehab for back injury, what would happen if I sprain or injured my left knee, will my rehab be paused?

I am in rehab for my lower back. What would happen if I injured my left knee. Would my lower back treatment be delayed and what if it's sprained or broken to the point where I need to go to urgent care? I don't have issues at the moment just curious except for the back pain. I had an x-ray done a couple of years ago in my left knee. They said subchondral cyst in the femoral head - and now my left knee seems to keep giving out. Should I wait till I am done with my back rehab to get looked at? It just seems like every other day and would my lower back pain prevent me from using crutches or at a certain age do you get a walker?

It's great to hear that you are going to physical therapy for your low back pain. In terms of your knee pain however, it is not necessary to discontinue with therapy unless advised by your primary care physician or orthopaedic physician. Depending on what type of injury you have on your knee, therapy could still continue since the back and lower extremity could correlate with one another. With that being said, I suggest asking your primary doctor as they will have more details regarding the severity of your knee injury.
It might be a good idea to follow up and have your knee evaluated.
