Clear Aligners may result in sensitivity as the teeth move. You must address the source of the sensitivity to answer this concern.
Hello, Invisalign is a great option to straighten teeth. It is a safe option, even if teeth are sensitive. As long as the surrounding gums and tissue are healthy, you should be fine.
Invisalign is a great option to straighten teeth. A number of reasons cause sensitive teeth. Dental caries (cavities), fractured teeth, leaking restorations, gum recession leading to root exposure, enamel erosion all can cause sensitive teeth. Having your teeth checked prior to any orthodontic treatment is paramount.
This is a question for your dentist. Depends on why they are sensitive, and the answer could be yes or no.
~Hello, I don't understand your question. Your teeth will be very sensitive with Invisalign due to the movement of each tooth. If you have sensitivity due to food, cold drinks, brushing your teeth etc, Invisalign should not effect you teeth at all. Hope this was helpful ~Dr. P
