Is a dental bridge better than an implant?

I have a missing tooth and want to replace it. Is a dental bridge cheaper than an implant?

While implants can last as long as natural teeth if you look after them well, a dental bridge can weaken over time due to this pressure and the fact that the supporting teeth have been filed away.
A bridge is usually less expensive but the implant is usually the better option.
It is true a bridge is cheaper than an implant. However, if you can afford it and your jaw bone is in good condition for dental implant, then I strongly recommend an implant. In term of function, an implant is stronger and easier to maintain than a bridge. In order to make a bridge the dentist has to cut down two adjacent teeth, therefore, in order to replace one missing teeth you end up jeopardizing two more teeth. In implant you replace one missing tooth by one implant.
