Is cinnamon good for you?

I am trying this weight loss drink with cinnamon and honey and I was wondering if it is healthy for you. Does it work to help with weight loss? I do not have any symptoms from it and I do not see any results.

A few studies suggest that replacing sugar with honey contributes to less weight gain, but there’s no evidence that honey and cinnamon will help you lose weight. There are Brain benefits associated with cinnamon consumption in humans including reduced inflammation, improved memory, increased attention, and enhanced cognitive processing. Additionally, I don’t recommend taking any spice in large quantities, and it’s always best to check with a doctor before making significant changes in your diet.
Thanks for your question.
As an emergency physician who specializes in acute, life-threatening illnesses, I suggest directing your question to a dietician who is more optimally trained in this arena.

Cinnamon has been shown to help with blood sugar control. It may help with weight loss by this action but there are not significant human studies that show this.
