“Klonopin for methamphetamine use/negative side effects?”
I am prescribed klonopin 1mg 3x a day for anxiety/panic attacks. Well, for the last 2 days I have been smoking methamphetamine off and on. I am hydrating and did sleep last night. I am experiencing anxiety, agitation, and some paranoia after smoking some methamphetamine about an hour ago. Can I take Klonopin to help with these negative effects without it interacting with the methamphetamine? Of course, I will not use any more meth.

If there are no other medications or drugs involved, the Klonopin that your doctor has prescribed may relieve some of your anxiety.The important question is are you getting help for your drug abuse problem and your underlying mental problems?
