I would like to know about medications for the disease of Kleptomania? Can someone help me with this, very important?

To answer the question more accurately I would need a history and current medication regimen, but to answer your question, yes, there are pharmacological treatments for this. SSRIs and Naltrexone have been shown to help with impulse control disorders. The most important aspect would be psychotherapy to help manage the behavior. Both treatment modalities in
unison would be most effective.
Kleptomania is classified as an obsessive compulsive disorder. Medication treatment in and of itself has mixed results for Kleptomania (predominately antidepressants used for OCD). If medication is combined into a more comprehensive treatment including such tools as cognitive behavioral therapy, re-enactment behavioral modification, and other therapies, there is a more significant positive outcome.
