If you are not getting regular monthly periods, you may have polycystic ovarian syndrome. This is a hormone imbalance that can affect your menses. If you are not interested in being pregnant right now, you can try taking birth control pills. If you want to be pregnant in the coming months, please check with your obstetrician/gynecologist.
