My lower jaw is a little backwards. How can this be corrected?

My lower jaw is a little uneven and is set a little backwards. What can I do to correct this condition? Will a surgery be required for the same?

Some people only need a chin advancement (genioplasty) procedure while others require movement of one or both jaws. You should see an oral surgeon and orthodontist.
Bilateral saggital split ramus osteotomy is the typical surgical procedure if indicated.
