Gastroenterologist Questions nausea

Nausea

I’m 18 and back in April I started a medication my psychiatrist prescribed me and I took it til august but it was always making me nauseous. My mother wanted me to keep taking it because it was helping with whatever it was supposed to help with (I don’t exactly remember what it was for) but i didn’t like how every time i ate i got nauseous so i slowly stopped taking it. Ever since then I can’t eat anything without getting extremely nauseous and feeling like I’m going to throw up. It doesn’t matter what I eat I always get nauseous and I don’t know what to do.

You need to try another medication to treat nausea. The psychiatrist can prescribe it, or you can see a primary care doctor or GI doctor for this.
