Pain upon loading finger?

I'm a rock climber and had a fall earlier. I'm experiencing some pain upon loading my left ring finger, especially in the palm/A1. It can sometimes be sharp, but also sometimes doesn't show up. I've had surgery last year to remove an abscess in the adjacent middle finger as well.

It appears that you have a trigger finger. Where the entrance of the tendon at the area of the A 1 pulley is located. You will experience locking or triggering of the finger. And the non-surgical treatment is not more than two or three. Injections of a steroid such as kenalog40 milligrams per ml. One ml., into the tendon sheath. I say no more than two or three. Because excessive injections can cause the tendon to rupture. Which now becomes a larger problem. If after two or three injections as mentioned above, And the triggering and locking, and pain continue. Then surgical intervention is needed. Surgery is done the same day surgery. In or out of the office In a same-day surgery Ambulatory Care Center using local anesthesia and sedation and should take no more than 10 minutes.
This needs to be evaluated by a hand surgeon very soon to check for a FPL rupture aka Rugger Jersey Finger.
It could be a trigger finger or a pulley injury due to rock climbing. I would seek a hand consultation. If it’s a trigger finger, then a steroid injection may help.

This could be tendinitis, a trigger finger or even a pulley rupture, which can occur in rock climbers. Best to consult a hand surgeon to get a proper diagnosis.
Could be a trigger finger(tenosynovitis of the profundus tendon).Might need a cortisone injection for treatment.
