Positive test after recovery?

I was tested for Covid-19 and passed the quarantine period a week ago, how long will it be before I get a negative test result?

You do not have to be retested. It is usually two weeks after the onset of the Covid if you want to be retested.
Thanks for the question.

Technically, you are no longer contagious at two weeks, regardless of repeat test result. The time to turning negative is variable, but most are negative by 4 to 6 weeks. The CDC considers positive tests after 90 days to be a new infection.
