“SNRI and Weight Loss?”
Would I be able to take a weight loss supplement with an SNRI? I have done some research on the Keto diet, and some weight loss supplements. I have always been told to steer clear of supplements while on an SNRI. I am writing to see if it is possible to take because I really want to lose significant weight. I am 5'3", and I weigh 171 lbs. I have anxiety and depression, and I take Effexor daily.

Hi,
The problem with weight loss supplements and effexor would be the risk of racing heart and high blood pressure. It is safer to change your diet and exercise every day.
