Thyroid + menstrual cycle connection?

Hi! I'm a 32 year old female who has been having longer than normal menstrual cycles (40 days give or take a few). I had my thyroid checked here are my results:

Serum TSH level 3.32 mIU/L [0.27 - 4.2]
Serum free T4 level 11.9 pmol/L [12.0 - 22.0]

The dr just noted 'satisfactory' on the report and that was it. With my symptoms and irregular cycles, I'm left a bit confused...as my T4 is on the lower end. Any help?

Your test results are within normal range although T4 is on lower end. Please consult your OB/GYN to look into your menstrual cycle issue
Close very close to normal, why didn't you get tested for estrogen and progesterone hormones?
Hello,

Consider checking Free T3 levels as well. However, if the TSH is normal, then clinically, this indicates that the thyroid is euthyroid or functioning adequately.

If you are having menstrual cycle bleeding lasting that long, I would very strongly suggest visiting a Gynecologist first. Your thyroid levels may vary a bit from time to time. With those nearly normal levels, your thyroid is likely not the issue. Bu you should definitely get this issue checked out.
I am an otolaryngologist. Best to ask or see your gynecologist.
