Do you still hear a murmur after having a vsd repair?

If the VSD is repaired properly you shouldn’t have a heart murmur, however occasionally the patch that is used for VSD repair may not last for a long time which will require intervention in some cases. Consult your cardiologist for that , a repeat 2D echo is indicated to study the status of repair.
