“What are the ways to recognize hepatitis?”
Is hepatitis an epidemic or is it caused from alcohol consumption? My brother has a drinking problem, and I'm pretty worried about the effect that this will have long-term. What are the best ways to recognize the early symptoms of hepatitis?

Hepatitis is a general term meaning inflammation of the liver. It has many, many causes, including viruses, drugs, and alcohol, among others. If someone has liver disease caused by alcohol, there can be significant reversal given absolute abstinence from alcohol.
