What color should lungs be on an x-ray?

I am a 19 year old female. I want to know what color should lungs be on an x-ray?

Technically clear-ish. If there is any real cloudiness, that usually indicates pneumonia.
Hi there. So there’s really not a clear cut answer to this questions as different parts of the body, technique used, and nature of the x-ray will affect the image. For example ribs which are dense, Block x-ray particles and will show up as white. Generally speaking structures that contain air show up as black, However, depends on quality of the image and if there’s any tissue lining that area.
