I belief in investigating the underlying cause of a situation first. What is the cause of your fever. Fever could be a sign of infection, but first check with your doctor.
When you have an elevated fever, it is important to get plenty of electorlytes and fluids. Solid foods can be difficult to eat during these times, particularly dairy products, which can curdle in the stomach and cause nausea and vomitting. Clear soups, water, and electrolyte drinks such as gatorade zero or powerade zero and even pedialyte are great to drink with high fevers and promotes a healthy return to normal with minimal ill effects.
