I am a 34 year old male. I want to know what hurts more tooth extraction or implant?

Neither procedure should hurt much. Complicated surgical extraction might be a little more painful post operatively. Your dentist will prescribe medication to control the pain so not to worry.
I have noticed that an extraction can have worse feelings afterwards than placing an implant.
Your dentist should be able to give you the possible scenarios around pain for you when you consult with them.

Theoretically, both procedures should be painless if you are anesthetized properly. However, you may be a little tender or sore for a few days after either procedure, but it's hard to say which hurts more.
