What is the most common treatment for child autism?

My son was diagnosed with autism. What is the most common treatment for child autism?

1 Answer

Thank you for the inquiry. It depends on the child's age and level of involvement. Early intervention is always the best way to prevent any regression and to ensure growth and development especially in the early stages of development. If your child is older make sure the school is aware of the new diagnosis to ensure any necessary services and accommodations are implemented. Depending on the level of involvement OT, PT, and SLP services may be warranted. Some other alternatives are diet changes, Hippotherapy, and holistic medicine including supplements. Please let me know if you are interested in initiating services. I look forward to hearing from you.
