It really depends on the cause of the diarrhea.
The medicines used to treat diarrhea from IBS, for example, are very different than what would be used for inflammatory conditions causing diarrhea.
Since I don't know the cause of the diarrhea then I cannot be more specific.
For most non-infectious diarrheas, imodium usually works well.
