A soft diet is best, gently clean the area according to your dentist's recommendation and avoid extremes of hot/ cold, and chewing on the area.
You should ask the doctor. Didn’t they give you instructions?
Ask the doctor who did the surgery. Only that person knows what was actually done and what precautions you must take.
