“What should I avoid after nose plastic surgery?”
I will have a rhinoplasty. What should I avoid after nose plastic surgery?

I think the best advice that I can give is listen to your operating surgeon. Everyone has a slightly different way of treating and having restrictions after rhinoplasty.
Avoid:
1. Bend over too far; should not place your head below your heart level.
2. Do not sneeze through your nose. sneeze with your mouth open to relieve the pressure thru your mouth instead of your nose to prevent nose bleeding.
3. Any forceful direct contact to your nose, such as: elbow, refrigerator door, soft ball....etc
4. Exercise that raises your blood pressure for an extended time
5. Avoid removing your nose splint too soon. Ask your surgeon when.
