What type of treatment is best for molar gum recession?

I have a molar gum recession. What type of treatment is best for molar gum recession?

1 Answer

Best treatment is an autogenous sub-epithelial tissue graft from your palate. This is a graft that is taken from within the palate so that you are not left with a raw wound. Other tissue sources are from the tissue bank or thickened collagen. The predictability of the graft depends on the bone level around the tooth as that is where the blood supply is derived from to nourish the graft and help blend it in.
