OB-GYN (Obstetrician-Gynecologist) Questions OB-GYN

Why am I having light vaginal bleeding?

I'm a little concerned I've been having light vaginal bleeding for almost three weeks now. I thought I was maybe having a very light menstrual cycle at first but the bleeding hasn't stopped. And that's not normal for me my cycles are normally 5-7 days start heavy and gradually lighten. I haven't had a menstrual cycle for about 2 months this isn't irregular because I've had an irregular menstrual cycle since I was a teen. But since I've had children my cycle was more normal and easily tracked. I don't believe that I'm pregnant because I've had my tubes tied 8 years ago. I'm a little worried. I currently don't have an OB-GYN and I haven't been to a well women's check-in a few years. But I've never had any issue prior to the situation and all previous well-women visits have been normal.

It would be important to check a pregnancy test to make sure you are not pregnant even though you’ve had your tubes are tied, if the test is negative then you need to establish care with a new OBGYN and report your symptoms so that an exam, labs and ultrasound can be arranged to evaluate the cause of your symptoms.
