Are all elective procedures canceled due to the coronavirus?

I am a 23 year old female. I want to know are all elective procedures canceled due to the coronavirus?

No. We are currently open.
If a patient has coronavirus an elective surgical procedure will be canceled. But elective surgical procedures are being performed at this time despite the pandemic. Elective surgical procedures across-the-board were only canceled in the first two or three months of the pandemic last year.Sincerely, Robert and Ciardullo, MD
This really depends on where you are located. There are some cities that still have rules regarding elective surgery but for the most part majority of the country is moving forward with allowing elective surgeries to proceed.
Thank you for your question. Elective surgeries were canceled for a couple of months back in March and April. But now that PPE is more available, elective surgeries have been allowed. We are still doing a full range of elective cosmetic surgeries including breast enhancement, body contouring, and facial rejuvenation and cosmetic procedures.

That depends upon where you are located. Here at AV Cosmetic Surgery, we are in Arizona and our state is back to performing elective procedures.
Most states in the U.S. have resumed elective surgery procedures, both at hospitals and free standing surgery centers. You should expect increased precautions such as pre-operative Covid testing.

No, they aren’t. We are fully functional.
We are performing elective surgery every day.
In Lewes Delaware, where I practice, all elective procedures have been restarted after having been postponed during the lockdown. The patients are all tested for Covid19 three days prior to an elective procedure and have to quarantine following the test to minimize the presence of Covid19 in the surgery center.

No, not all elective procedures are canceled depending upon where they are being done. For example, the Veterans Administration hospital has canceled all elective procedures currently. However, not all facilities are closed for elective procedures.

Yes, in most states... all elective procedures have been cancelled! Hopefully we will get back to normal soon sometime in May.
