ā€œHow can bleeding be stopped for a diabetic patient?ā€

I'm a diabetic, and f I get a cut, even just a small one, I sometimes find it hard to stop bleeding. What should I do when this happens?

Either you are taking aspirin or another platelet inhibitor, or warfarin. Unlikely you have low platelets, a low coagulation factors. Regardless, direct pressure and elevation of the affected part will take care of it within 5 minutes
Put the manual pressure proximal to bleeding place and hold aspirin for a few days. Get checked for white blood cell count and bleeding profile by your physician.
