Can prostatitis be detected by a urine test?

I am a 28 year old male. Doctor suspects that I have prostatitis and ordered a urine test. Can prostatitis be detected by a urine test?

Often, patients can have prostatitis without any signs of an infection in the urine or blood. It is often a clinical diagnosis and can be made by interviewing the patient and performing a physical exam. The PSA test can sometimes be helpful as well.
