Urologist Questions Vasectomy

Can a vasectomy leave a lump?

I'm 45 and I recently had gotten a vasectomy 3 months ago. However, now I feel a small lump near my testicle. Could this be from my vasectomy?

If the lump is where the vasectomy, then this could be a slight scar from the procedure and it will likely become smaller with time. If it is very near the testicle, this can be another cause. If it bothers you or you really want to know, then an ultrasound would help determine the diagnosis.
This can be in the form of what is typically small mass or lump where the tubes or the Vas are tied with sutures.
Yes. After a vasectomy, you may form a small lump at the end of the transected vas deferens.
Yes. Could be a spermatocele or a sperm granuloma
Possible, consult the doctor who did the procedure. If not bothersome, soaking the scrotum in a tub may help resolve the swelling
Thanks for asking the question. Yes, many times after a vasectomy, you have develop a spermatocele, or a sperm granuloma from the vasectomy. I would see your local urologist for a quick examination to determine what it is in your case.

Yes
It is scar tissue, probably small granuloma, very often seen after vasectomies.
