You can visit a chiropractor any time you would like. Depending on the type of surgery, how recent it was, what techniques the chiropractor is proficient in, you may or may not get treatment.

To answer your question, yes you can see a chiropractor for treatment after scoliosis surgery. Depending on what kind of surgery you had, will depend on the type of treatment you receive. If the surgery was an insertion of a Harrigton Rod, the area of treatment is limited. A rod will cause other areas of the spine to present problems of stress, do to compensation. These will be the areas of interest. Let the chiropractor know the history and do a complete exam. I have treated numerous failed back surgeries and have seen tremendous results with decrease pain.
