Can you need a ventilator from bronchitis?

My daughter is 12 years old and she has bronchitis. Can you need a ventilator from bronchitis?

A minor case of bronchitis should not need a ventilator (a machine that breathes for a patient in respiratory failure). If by a ventilator you mean a nebulizer (a machine that is used for asthma medications like albuterol), sometimes it is needed if the bronchitis is with wheezing.
Hope this helps.
