General Practitioner Questions Cheese

What cheese is good for my child?

There are a number of cheeses available in the market. If I want to feed my child cheese purely from a nutritional point of view, what should I opt for?

Goat cheese.

In general, children under the age of 6 months should not be fed anything other than breast milk or formula. Then bland gruel can be added, and if the child does not react untorwardly to that, various other foods can be added bit by bit. Cheese is OK from about 8 months in samll amounts, but go by the child's nose. What the child ikes is generally OK. Organic is good for many reasons.
