Do crowns hurt afterwards?

I am a 32 year old female. I will get a dental crown next week. Do crowns hurt afterwards?

No
They can often hurt for a few weeks to hot cold or biting, but the majority of the time, this resolves quickly
Sometimes they may be a little sensitive to cold or your gum may be tender around it but these symptoms will hopefully disappear with time
No.

Crowns should not hurt after placement. When they do, the most common cause is the bite has not been fully adjusted, and a visit with the dentist is indicated.
