Do wisdom teeth always hurt when they come in?

I'm 19 years old, and one of my wisdom teeth is coming in right now and it hurts really bad. Do they always hurt when they come in?

Not always but not that uncommon as well. Recommend you see a dentist.
Not always, but many times, depending on the angle of eruption and the area of your tooth, you can get an infected gum and then the likelihood of severe pain is increased.
Most of the time there is pain involved, but it is only temporary.
Wisdom teeth do NOT always hurt when they come in. Teething at any age, can be annoying. It should not be extremely painful. Some wisdom teeth can push against the tooth in front which can prevent them from erupting completely. Wisdom teeth can be hard to clean, which makes gum infection more likely. For major pain, you should see a dentist.
Not really. If it hurts, it's time to see a dentist.
