Does folic acid help you get pregnant fast?

I am a 26 year old female. I wonder if folic acid helps you get pregnant fast?

No, folic acid won't help you get pregnant any faster. It does, however, help prevent birth defects, so it is important to take it or a prenatal vitamin with folic acid while you are trying to get pregnant, while you are pregnant, and while breastfeeding.
Hello,

First of all, there is nothing that you can buy at the store that helps you get pregnant, let alone "quickly." Folic acid is just a vitamin. That would be awesome if taking a vitamin would help you get pregnant, however, there is nothing that you can buy that will help you get pregnant. You just have to get pregnant the old fashion way: Have intercourse 2 days before you ovulate, the day you ovulate, and then 2 days after you ovulate.
Good luck!

No it does not help one get pregnant quicker. Folic acid is recommended for patients considering getting pregnant whose diets may not be rich in folic acid. Folic acid is very important if the CNS and neural tube development of a fetus. Some forms of Spina bifida are the results of folic acid insufficiency during this important fetal development.
Folic acid prevents spinal cord defects in the baby. It is important to start folic acid 800-1000 mcg or prenatal vitamins at least 3 months before you start trying to get pregnant.
