Physical Therapist Questions Weight loss

Why am I experiencing pain after losing weight?

I have been trying hard to lose weight and now after losing about 25 lb I am having a lot of body pain. It's kind of a sore pain like I had been running. What could be the reason for this?

You are not stretching after your workouts. This causes soreness. Please give importance for stretching after workouts including running like you give for workouts.

Weight can have a major impact on your body's way of movement. Your current movement pattern may be more structural dependent instead of musculoskeletal strength. This will significant effect your pain. I strongly suggest discussing your concerns with your local physical therapist.
Congratulations on your weight loss and taking back control of your body!!! There could be a number of possibilities and answers to your question. One answer would be that muscle soreness is what is the cause. You have lost some of your body mass and now your muscles are having to relearn how to support your new body composition. This is no easy task either. Keep up the great work and good luck.
