How can I lose weight during menopause?

I am a 50 year old female and I gained weight from menopause. How can I lose weight during menopause?

It is much challenging with wt loss during menopause, but good healthy diet- both in content, portions and time of day is recommended.Generally a light breakfast- moderate lunch- light dinner is best. We all do not need a three square meal a day to stay alive!! It is not healthy habit to have a heavy late dinner and go to bed with such loaded calories, .exercise- either at home, Gym is a good idea, walking, weight bearing exercise, yoga- stretching ... all are great ways. Most importantly, have a mind set that you can and will and able to loose that weight and stick to it. Hope this was helpful.
Average weight gain with menopause is 12-15 lbs. Diet and exercise are the foundation of weight control throughout life. The amount that we can eat generally is reduced as we get older.
