How do you know if you have shoulder impingement?

I am a 33 year old male. I wonder how do you know if you have shoulder impingement?

Pain in your shoulder that runs down your arm. Worse when reaching behind your back and reaching straight up.
Typically, impingement pain occurs with reaching overhead with localization to the subacromial region which is under the front of the scapula. Repetitive lifting overhead or throwing can cause pain as well. Your doctor can make the diagnosis and refer you to an orthopedic specialist necessary.

Good luck,
