How long does fissure sealant last?

I am a 30 year old male. I want to know how long does fissure sealant last?

Depends on a lot of factors but in my practice in reality, I see them going a few years. I have had some last 15 but most are gone much sooner than that.
Usually 5-8 years or until the sealant is worn off the chewing surface of the tooth.
Fissure sealants are recommended for young adult usually when the permanent just came out or surface into the mouth, It is highly recommended up to age 14.
