Define mark. Most are pink to red that will take weeks or months
Acne marks can be discolorations following healing of active acne or actual scars. Lots of factors come in to post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, including skin color, environment-lots of sun exposure versus not so much sun exposure. Places where there are lots of sun, Will probably have the spots last a little bit longer as well as darker skin colors.
