How long should I wait to eat after a dental cleaning?

I am a 25 year old male. I will have a dental cleaning next week. How long should I wait to eat after a dental cleaning?

No waiting period needed.
You can eat right away if you like. And if you have fluoride applied, there are certain precautions that they will let you know about before you leave.
You can eat right away unless you had fluoride placed on your teeth. In which case you should wait a half hour from leaving the office.
No need to wait at all. Enjoy your meal or snack.
I would wait until after you leave the dental office and you are good to go!
30 mins
If a Fluoride varnish is placed after the cleaning then you’d want to wait 30 to 45 min otherwise you can eat right away.
There is no need to wait unless you have received a fluoride treatment- then there is a 30 min release time
