“Is it healthy to be on so many medications?”

Unfortunately, sir, this is a philosophical question like "What is the meaning of life?" or "Why is there evil in the world?" There's no simple answer, but you can learn a great deal if you research your question on the web. What I can say is too many physicians have been too eager to hand out opioids to patients without a clear medical indication, under the mistaken belief it will help them. Or at least make them happy. Or at least give them good satisfaction ratings on patient satisfaction surveys.
