Is my child with low blood count at risk?

My child has low blood count and I am worried about her catching Covid-19. Is my child with low blood count at risk?

Everyone is susceptible. If you are immune compromised, have heart or lung disease, or diabetes or obesity, then you are more susceptible to infection. No one has cited anemia as a risk factor.
Hello,

A low blood count is not necessarily a risk for COVID 19. Is it white blood cell count or red blood cell count? If she/he has an underlying chronic illness or is on medication that interferes with his/her immune system, that may put him/her at higher risk. The best way to lower the risk of “catching” COVID 19 is washing hands for 20 seconds frequency, staying home, avoiding play dates and company, disinfecting surfaces, and practicing social distancing. Also, keep in mind, COVID 19 in children tends to be mild.
Stay safe!
